Be careful going to these bathhouses, a lot of them are cover ups for gay gatherings. When I visited Moscow I went to a bathhouse and saw a guy giving another guy a handy J in plain sight. When I asked why they got upset about it and said it-s a normal thing and to either mind my own business or leave. Not to mention more than half the guys there were walking around -erect-

Love living in Ukraine for almost a decade now. visiting and living in surrounding countries. i have only visited the bath house one time and that was with 3 girls for model pics. being from Texas love the cultural aspect but I have turned down each offer from men to go to the bathhouse. However living in Kiev socially if asked by certain people. i will definitely go again.

Comment sections are so predictable. I've been wanting to check this place out ever since that Eddy Huang episode on munchies with that very eccentric fat jewish guy, what was his name again? How crazy of all those people in that episode here we are so many years later and the rapping asian girl is the most famous. Love that girl.

I was inspired by this so I went to a local bathhouse. The problem is that I live in San Francisco and the bathhouse was nothing like the one in the video. The floor was sticky, they only give massages face up, and they only served cosmopolitans. 5 stars

I've eaten some Russian food and they are good but on menu I saw some other countries foods. Some where even from Georgia been there, they have great food. Tried lobio and wasn't dissapointed. I wanna go there, I wanna try that bathhouse now

They must have changed management because when i used to go in 2010-2014 the menu was not that extensive nor did the food look that good. The food was OK. I still think of that place. Its a bit greasy, but thats what gives it the charm.

Absolutely hate that the guy said that the rubs cured cancer cause you wouldn-t believe how many people will believe that! I have inoperable cancer and love this place and have been several times but that turned me off.

Used to frequent this place in the late 80s, aww the East Village, love it, just went to Moscow and went to the Sanduny near Red Square that-s been open since the 1808, very cool place too.

quick note: you're not supposed to wet the cloth sauna hats, if they are wet they lose their insulative properties they should be relatively dry to keep your head cool in the banya
