Tikoy is a very popular kakanin in the Philippines, it is basically a steamed glutinous rice flour with cream and added sweetener. My version of tikoy is a bit close to tikoy of quezon province but instead of adding the butter, condensed milk and cheese to the batter, I put it on top as a toppings and baked until crisp and golden brown.
This technique adds additional flavor and texture that really make your tikoy stands out. I would say that this maybe the best tikoy recipe that you can get in the internet!
