I love Priya! And her interactions with her mom and her dad these past few weeks have been so heartwarming! Her mom at the end talking about getting to spend more time with her made me tear up! My mom has been gone for years but I would give anything to be sheltering at home with her baking pies (her specialty)

What! Rice in the Microwave? I'm going to try it. NO judgement.
I will be judged by other Jamaicans though. (sigh and shakes head)
I am 50/50 with cooking rice. It's only great 50% of the time.
I also love Brown Rice. I planned to get a rice
cooker, but I will give your dad's recipe a try.

If you're hiring and have spots in NYC, I may have no real qualifications but I was junior and senior editor of my high school yearbook and I can definitely hold a camera steady and tell someone to look in the lens, plus I will readily accept minimum wage so if that's what you're looking for you can dm me.

I'll start by saying I love Priya and this recipe!
Hard not to compare between BA and NYT since Priya appears in both, but BA is the clear winner for editing in my opinion. Mic asidethe jazzy music in this video was really distracting and feels quite dated. Just my two cents from a fan!

For tomatoes there's a couple of weeks every year when fresh ones taste great, but outside of that canned ones are going to offer much better flavour and texture. (Unless you're getting them straight from a high-tech greenhouse like Brad)

Omg I have that same Beauty and the Beast plate (not the fork, spoon and cup though) I'm 33 and I'm pretty sure I got it for my 5th birthday lol! It's probably the only thing I have from when I was a kid.

I make something similar to this for brunch with whatever I have in the fridge or pantry. I do a fried rice actually so eggs go in it. But I never baked it. Looks really tasty. I will try it.
