The process is clearly showing the difference between cooking for pleasure and cooking with the goal of a good photo I dont know how so many people in these comments arent understanding that. Saying the food stylists was pretty but probably didnt taste as good. yeah thats literally the point. Its his job to make it beautiful and the home cooks goal was to make it delicious. Its really obvious seriously. also idk what food waste youre all talking about he made one plate for show because its his job and then said he would take the rest of the unused product (which was all completely edible) and make it for real at home or something. Thats not waste? Just because they dont show the rest of the food being eaten doesnt mean its not, because thats not what the video is about. All that being said, this was an interesting video and Id love to see more in a similar vein

I might be talking shit but it was pretty possible to do a more stylozed photo when actually cooking the right way and then eating. The waste didn't seemes worth it. I know with pasta it kind looks the same and some other food you can reaply see the difference like a burguer or something but that waste just made me sad

At least his style of food styling is less wrong(for lack of a stronger more appropriate word. The food is actual food and the actual dish even if he finciked about seetting up. Its not as if he use glue, shoe polish, oil or what not just to make a shot of something that looked like food.

i think one of the key things they didn't talk about is the colour of the plate! the grey plate the food stylist used creates constrast with the white sauce and pasta so I feel like his dish is more eye catching

honestly. Kiera's looks better. idk maybe it's just cause i know that Barett's is cold and uneatable, but I think Kiera's just looks more fresh and nice.

This is the reason I prefer watching cooking on YouTube rather than blogs or magazines. The photos look nothing like the actual food and taste like trash.

i think i find kieras more appetizing, but i imagine barretts would be right at home on an instagram timeline or in a food magazine
