Theres something about a molten lava cake that is so 5 star, probably because its mostly seen in restaurants. Its rare that you get to enjoy it at home but thats about to change And on top of that, weve created our very own recipe that will change lava cake forever. The funfetti molten lava cake is everything your dessert dreams have ever been made of. And we e showing you how to make it in your very own kitchen Molten Funfetti Cake From Nicole Iizuka, POPSUGAR Food 1/2 cup white chocolate chips1/2 cup butter 1 cup powdered sugar 2 eggs 2 egg yolks 6 tablespoons flour, plus extra for dusting 2 tablespoons sprinkles, plus more for garnish Non-stick cooking spray Vanilla ice cream Preheat oven to 425F. Spray 4 8-ounce ramekin dishes with cooking spray and lightly dust the inside with flour. Place on a baking sheet and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips with butter and melt in 30-second intervals until chocolate and butter are smooth. Whisk in powdered sugar and mix well. Batter will be slightly lumpy. Add eggs and egg yolks and continue mixing. The batter will smooth out. Add flour and whisk until combined. Gently fold in sprinkles, being careful to not over mix. You want them to be evenly distributed, but do not want the color to run. Evenly distribute the batter between ramekin dishes. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until the edges are firm but when you shake it the center is still slightly soft. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Run a knife around the edge of the ramekin and then invert onto a plate. Serve immediately with ice cream and even more sprinkles. Cook Time: 15 minutes Serving Size: 4

Speaking of rainbow sprinkles, last night I dreamt that I was hanging out with the Pines Family of Gravity Falls. We were just talking about families and how much of a challenge it is to tolerate them and our hobbies, until Grunkle Stan borrowed two sacks; one was filled with money and the other was filled with some kind of treat called Fat Daddy Cakes. Their kind of like cake pops but with no stick and you can hold them with two hands. They looked like they were coated with toasted coconut shavings and a cinnamon-sugared water (as the glue for it) and if you cut it for a cross-section, it has the same color as perfect pancakes with rainbow sprinkles and Fruity Pebbles (or something that looks like it. Grunkle Ford asked him where did he get these (Im guessing that theyre banned due to his tone) and He answered like this: Okay, first of all Poindexter, they are only banned in any sate that has city stuff like huge buildings and busy nights. were in a country, were fine. Second of all, lets just say that theyre on sale: a Five Finger Discount of a Sale

This seems unsafe. I have made chocolate lava cakes many times, and the idea that its cake is actually false. Youre actually making chocolate souffle. In this recipe, the interior contains potential diseased raw eggs. Plus, this looks gross. Do yourselves a favor and make an actual chocolate souffle. Its difficult, but youre guarenteed to be salmonella free.

All you people writing comments about uncooked eggs and stuff, need to just stop. The eggs will be safe to eat after being in the oven for 11 minutes. The whole point of a lava cake is so the middle is gooey and molten like. If you OVER cook the cake, youre not going to get that effect, Youll get a normal cake.

Thats just undercooked cake. Chocolate lava cake when they make it put a cylinder or sphere of frozen chocolate ganache, so the chocolate melts, the inside isnt cake, its just chocolate donuts safe to eat, but thats just raw cake

i like the idea but i was wondering if you could make a regular white chocolate molten cake plz. them add the sprinkles on top so the it doesnt get a strange color and i think maybe less butter bc its adding to the strange colors

Can someone answer this for me: In molten cakes is the middle part of the cake some miraculous scientific thing that happens while baking and creates the middle goopy part or is it just undercooked in the middle?

Okay so I LOVED the idea of this recipe, so I tried it out. IT SUCKED. So it got burnt on the top, when I tried it the cake was bad spongy and tasted TERRIBLE, and it was just all around bad. DO NOT TRY THIS RECIPE.

I dont know why people are complaining about the eggs. People make runny eggs all the time with their breakfast, which are cooked. I personally dont like chocolate lava cake, so I think this is a good alternative. :)

Made these with my friend. Halved the recipe. Was really eggy: / and floury: / Would recommend coating ramekin with sugar instead of flour. Needed to be sweeter. My stomach is sad. 4. 5/10
