If anyone whos out for a run or even touring you simply have to go to the chip shop in auchterarder, its on a par with mikes in Aberdeen but I kid you not from the juicy fish to the smoked sausage and the chicken is fantastic. Ive visited the place often when I worked away from home and visited it on my way back to Aberdeen when I was a coach driver and Ill never forget night I was driving a coach back from a day trip and I went into the place to make sure that theyd accept a full coach( thats 50 people including myself, and they obviously said yes. They were contemplating closing early because it was unusually quiet that Saturday night so instead of closing early they thankfully kept the place open and we spent a shit ton of money there the staff, the cleanliness and most of all the quality of the food was and probably still is from the first bite to the last. Id appreciate any info from anyone who lives in auchterarder could tell me if it is, thank you.

On the Bab looked like the first place i would go. The option for loads of small plates at that price point gives you more options of flavors to eat compared to Chick 'n' Sours. Although that whole roast chicken in that sauce looked amazing and would definitely be worth a go. The chicken in Bird looked nice, however it leans a bit to generic.
