5 Low-Carb Meal Recipes To Start Off Your Year Right Mitch V: First problem with most of these recipes: too much salt. Carbs arent actually bad for you if you watch your intake, but salt just stocks on top of your muscles and you then feel like you havent lost weight. Second: Dairy is full of sodium and cholesterol, which doesnt show but is extremely unhealthy for your heart. Salt isnt needed whilst using cheese. Cheese is also full of fat. Third: That egg omelette isnt so much an omelette. Its a crepe, if anything. Egg whites also dont have a lot of nutrients. People are looking for low cholesterol since theyre intaking too much salt from such things like: cheese, too much meat, oh-MORE CHEESE, etc. Fourth: Sweet potatoes are, btw, carbs. A medium sweet potato is 26g of carbs (search that on google quickly. Fifth, brown sugar is literally carbs. Google that. Carbs are sugar(s. Period. Sixth: all vegetables are mainly carbs, theyre less dense in calories and fill up your stomach more than say: pasta or bread. Seventh: That eggplant looks so over cooked, itll just be slime. Eighth thing that I see is literally bacon. Come on dudes. Its got a TON of grease, and then frying POTATOES in the bacon grease. So, cholesterol and sodium is the answer? Wrong. Afterwords, sausage; cholesterol and grease. Add cheese and a white tortilla to the mix, so more cholesterol and carbs. Just so Im clear here: I am not here to just bash tasty, and the comments arent just getting dark. People making these videos just have to do a bit of research and get educated. Most people do not know how to properly diet, and thats the sad truth. I am here to point out the flaws that could be alternated with ACTUAL healthy ingredients. Cholesterol, sodium and poor dieting is the main cause of heart disease, and thats why so many people are on medications just to keep their heart health level. If you want the real truth follow holistic nutrition.

Dude, all these people with their fad diets saying that you ABSOLUTELY have to eat low carbs to lose weight bullshit. What you really need is a balanced diet, you need to be in a hypocaloric state (burn more calories than you eat) to lose weight. For example, I eat 2000 calories a day, and I burn more than that if I count the workouts, the usual energy your body spends to breathe, eat and all that stuff. Trust me, go check out these lean athletic people like Athlean-X, Fraser Wilson and you will see that diets such as Keto are not what youre supposed to do. Besides, who here is going to do Keto for the rest of their lives? Because if you arent, then again, what you need to have is a lifestyle change, not just a temporary bullshit diet. Have I lost fat thanks to what I wrote? Yes. Did I gain muscle mass? Most defenitely. You can do whatever you want, you dont have to listen to me but please, just make the right lifestyle changes for yourself

I know everyone says to go low carb, but really all you need to lose weight is cut out most sugar for a while. You see some of these recipes contain plenty of sugar, which while I love it and it makes so many things taste better, is the main reason for most peoples weight gain and heart problems. While cutting back carbs can help, I would really suggest just eating in moderation, working out, and cutting back a little more on sugar.

What the heck? Sweet potatoes and two tablespoons of brown sugar? Depending on the chili paste, that too can be quite carby, because it can have added sugars. So your low carb pad thai is actually a fairly high carb meal. Why the heck would you falsely advertise it as low carb? This just fuels misinformation, and its honestly quite annoying, when your general recipes otherwise are quite good and entertaining.

Tasty, maybe you could find someone who is actually on a low carb diet and let them make something. There are lots of good dishes that really dont have a bunch of carbs in them, unlike so many of yours. You could make meatballs, or chicken with mushroom gravy, or a crustless quiche with cream and eggs and gruyre cheese and bacon that are all extremely low in carbohydrates.

okay, some of those look really tasty, but in all of them, all of your calories are still coming from carbs. The buritos could have a lot of meat in them, making them actually low carb, but certainly not the way you pictured them. I mean, seriously? Potatoes as low carb? They are not only NOT low carb, theyre probably the worst kind of carb, starchy carbs.

Sweet potatos are actually healthy for you a lot of models and fitness people include it in their diets. but ya wouldnt eat any of this if your trying to be heathy just stick to lean protein, healthy fats, veggies, and some fruit also low carb can be an aspect of an healthy meal but doesnt mean the meal is overall healthy.

I really wish you would go back to the format of 1 video = 1 recipe. These 5 recipes clips are annoying especially if one only like 1 out of 5 recipes and putting the recipes name at the end of the demonstration is also annoying (like buying a book but not being able to know the title of it until youve read it all)

I think yall made a mistake in editing. The breakfast burrito portion of the video is the exact same footage as the burrito portion of the meal prep video. Since the breakfast burrito recipe isnt particularly low-carb, I think this was done in error. Great video otherwise, and all of the recipes look delicious: )
