Bche de Nol (A French Christmas Dessert) . worknbills okay: This reminds me of the types of delicacies that I would see at the bakery. My mother used to go to the grocery store then she would go to the butcher and then she would go to the bakery. That's how old I am.

You guys this isnt a good recipe. The cake will come out waaaaaayyyyy too thick and the icing will too. It's supposed to be sponge cake and butter cream and they did a bad job t both. If you wanna make a good one use the first few recipes on google. Since these guys had to change it to avoid copy right its definitely not as good as it can be.

Not a fan of the new format of showing the decorating/end part at the beginning of the video. Doesn't feel organic. Same thing happened with the Pretzel Lincoln Log video.

The pastry chefs where I used to work would always make this for those of us who got stuck working Christmas day in our employee dining room. it was sooooo good

When I was a kid, my dad used to make this for my mom's French Club holiday gathering. The best part was that he'd make extra truffles for me to eat

Only in US they are making creams with butter. It doesn't look appetising. We usually make fillings with heavy cream. Who eats plain butter with sugar?

We made something like this in prison with wheat bread and all kinds of chocolate candies like milkey way snickers and cupcakes all blended together

Any one else feel like this recipe is in a completely confused in order. I mean first decorating it, then showing us how to make the contents.

Isn't this just a Yule log cake. Not really French. Or Christmas. It was originally for the holiday Yule. But hey what do I know?
