Plating Techniques For A Four-Course Dinner Juvenile Dilettante: I used to never care about food plating or how food is presented till this video, but now I realize how beautiful it is, thanks for opening my eyes once more when it comes to food.

I dont want each bite of food, or each tidbit fingered over/over on the plate. just toss the salad & use tongs. not roll up curled zuccini & bury them 1 by 1 under the potatoes, over & over. too much fingering of each & every leaf of garnish. if itsvultra delicate good, the cool chefs use tiny tongs & tiny skewers to set a mini bloom on top of fish. but they dont finger every side angle of an ingredient. lve seen that by Asian chefs (whole different type of food. oh, this vlog was like chefs making a bed Perfect sheet corners, folded right & pillows fluffed & straight. lol

As a pastry chef, the dessert pained me. What kind of dessert is three slices of store bought pound cake? If you have enough money for fresh and freeze-dried strawberries you have enough money for eggs, butter, sugar and flour. If youre cooking for people you love, they will appreciate the time and effort you put into baking more than the time and effort you put into disguising a one dollar cake you got from the corner store.

These past couple weeks I've been OBSESSED with cheese boards and wanting so bad to make one. And suddenly you upload a video on how to make one? I'm taking it as a sign

A thought just crossed my mind. How much food waste does Tasty actually produce from all these videos? I'm hoping they eat most of it, but I'd still like to know.

This would work better as a Tasty 101 video. I dont know about you guys but when you can hear her (I think it's Alexis's voice) it helps me retain the info better

i prefer my cheese boards to be more minimal, it draws the attention more to the cheese if ygm, aha but i love the idea of incorporating lavender in them
