Could you possibly describe somewhat of the technique you used drilling the wood blocks with the 1. 5 drill bit? .Was a firm even pressure that cracked it? When you first showed them off as one of the thrifted conquests- I had just initially assumed that they were solid wood. But they actually do look pretty hollow.

Love most of the things you show. Can't lie though. hated the wood block lamp. I thought you might have stacked them at angles to each other giving it some visual appeal.

great projects. I would have painted the cabinet black. I think it would have been a better contrast. It was my favorite project although the others were great too!

Not sure if anyone mentioned, You can also revive the hinges and other metal knobs by letting them soak in a vinegar and water solution for 24hrs. Stay crafty!
