Its better to make a planter out of the yoghurt cup by simply drilling a 1/4in hole in the bottom of the yoghurt cup, cutting several quarter inch high and wide slits on the bottom edge of the yoghurt cup, putting the soil and plant directly into the yoghurt cup and using the yoghurt cup lid under it to catch any loose dirt or water coming out the slits.
