You may know this by now but if not. pour a 1/4 of your wax in and add some of your lavender or whatever your adding and let that set then add more lavender, set and so on. It will give it more of a scattered throughout look. Also maybe dipping your pieces or using hot glue will hold pieces to the side of your container. love your DIYs! Keep em coming!

Such cute gift ideas! Just a little tip for the candle DIY: if you poor in the hot wax in layers, you could sprinkle the dried lavender on top of each layer and let it cool down completely before pouring in the next layer. By doing that, you can actually see multiple layers of dried lavender from the outside which looks a bit cuter.

I learned you can use a hair dryer to slightly melt the outside of the candle and stick the lavender on this way then re-dip the candle back in to the wax and wrap in parchment paper to smooth the outside. I have not tried this but just read it in a candle making book. Your crafts are excellent!
