Im sharing a few of my favorite ways to make your home look more expensive without breaking the bank. These are some fresh updates you can easily make to spruce up your space. Even if youre decorating on a budget, you can still design a home that feels expensive! Nicole: I have a weird old house where you use a side door and walk into this little square area with stairs in front of you going into the house and stairs to the right going to the basement. It's hard because theres no where to put shoes, and no where to put something that smells good. it normally smells a little musty because of the basement right there. I can't hang something for the shoes because the door opens into the only wall x-x

Hey thank you so much for your advice. I'm just moved into my new home from a divorce and I'm in a smaller bedroom (bigger room for my daughters) and have just been stuck. Now all I need to figure out is which wall to place the head of my bed. Windows on the north and east wall, built in draws and cabinets in west wall and door on south wall. so kinda limited.

I wish I could hang anything on our apartment walls. my landlord was very firm on not piercing the wallpaper to hang anything on them 7 months later and I'm still trying to think of ways to get around this. can't replace anything here either. cannot wait to move. really hoping that my next landlord is more flexible.

OMG, I only knew one of these hacks (windows treatments) and I'm starting out in real estate. You are so creative and I love that none of your suggestions are expensive. I'm now following you just from this one video. It's hard to find someone as multi-faceted as you! Thank you and I look forward to more!

Hi Drew, need a quick help/suggestion. I am trying to buy a bed for the very first time. Currently mattress on metal frame. Give me some suggestions. Where to look? All the stores I see have gaudy designs and are made from cheap materials. My budget is $1000 USD.

People that come into my home always comment on how it either smells like fresh baked cookies or a deep warm cinnamon scent. I get told on the daily how good I smell lol I have an over active sense of smell so it's super important to me that things smell good: )

You do have great taste & I do love how you did the curtains as well as the bed you made up: )
I have many many large plants which people always compliment when they see them too - great addition with beautiful pots of course

So many people burn a candle when they have invited guest to eat. This is a no no for me. When you come in for dinner you dont want perfume smells to mix with the food. Thats just me.

Does somebody actually use throw on pillows for their bed? I'd definitely hate removing and putting them on again every morning and every night. Sofa I agree but bed not really.

I'm about to go get a new diffuser from the cabinet and crack it open for the downstairs. Probably the hallway so the scent travels but isn't over the top in areas people linger.
