For this fairy house I only used cardboard hot glue and acrylic paint. I always try to make my houses in three easy steps: 1 Basic shape For the first step I cut out the walls and roof and assembled it using hot glue. I added a cardboard tower, a chimney and a couple of smaller roofs for the main windows. The basic shape is complete 2 Details I added cardboard details like window frames, door frame, roof shingles, bricks and stones. 3 Painting For this step I used acrylic paint. I started by painting the walls in white. On the bricks I gently brushed some brown and red shades and for the stones I used some grey shades. For the main roof I used green and for the small tower roof I used a dark grey and some metallic acrylic for patina. For the window frames and base I used a dark brown. The house is now finished. You can add some LED lights inside and use it as a night lamp like I do. I enjoyed making this little house. Hope you enjoyed watching. #stayhome and create #withme

Get house. I have promised by granddaughter a fairy house. Do you have the dimensions or patterns of the cardboard pieces? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Struggling Poppa.

I really love all these card houses, they are so cool! Please tell me, do you sketch them out first and plan them? I'm going to make something, I'm very inspired!
