In this video I-m going to focus on the importance of landmarks when drawing anatomy. Bones that we can see on the surface through the skin give us valuable clues to the rest of the anatomy. We can track the muscles easier because muscles attach to the bones. Also, bones are a lot more consistent between people. Muscles, tendon, and fat vary a lot, but we can count on bones to be more predictable. Let-s get started!
TinaDitte: The best way to get a feel of where the bones are placed, is by feeling on your own skin. Ive had anatomy classes on my occupational therapy study, and one of the things we learned, was that the easiest way to find the bones place, is by finding it on your own body. As Proko says with the elbow: feel the bone on the skin, get an idea of how it forms the skin around. Look at a picture of the bone anatomy and determine them on your own - or even better - on another persons body. If you dont have a willing subject for you to feel one, then stand in front of the mirror. Thats when I understood the structure the best. Date: 2022-03-14
