I liked the characters in the ads at the end of the video. I recognised the drawings from the photos. Taylor did not register as Taylor to me, but I suspect it is because we move in different circles. Court has skills I only wish I had. Maybe Santa will give me mad skills this year.

this video really illustrates the playing with shapes. In some sketches the face shape is short and wide, in others, tall and skinny. Court keeps playing around until he finds a shape he likes. This is really inspiring me to experiment too

The length and thinness of her nose has always stood out to me, so all of these shrinking her nose only removed any chance of a resemblance. I don't think any of these look like her since none have her nose.

do you do a tutorial on how to draw a person wearing clothes (both male/female) without any detail. i'm not so good at drawing detail so I need to learn how to draw without detail first

One of the main challenges for me is deciding wether the head should be wide or not, it's hard to determine when a face is wider than the rest when I can still see it's a high shape

stan why don't you try white on black, toned or gray paper for potrait or anatomy with sanguine, sepia or chalk pastels or any of that oldschool sort. its gettin lame with caricature.
