Where are the interesting poses, the feeling? 'Teaching' people to draw such inflexible, rigid characters isn't a good way to go about things; (especially since this is targeted at children) You should try to give options, and show that you can draw things in infinite ways, not just in the same stance from the same angle with the same, boring, blank expression. An artist's goals should be to make the people who see their piece feel emotion, and to inspire others, not to just crank out these flat, bland templates.
