We visited Sage Hill Ranch Gardens, a local market farm here in San Diego that prides itself on being completely fossil fuel free! eQui: It's always either the tomatoes or the cucumbers that struggle. If it's dry, the tomatoes are good, if it's humid, the cucumbers are happy. Depends on the year. In the last summers, the tomatoes did better at my place.

Had to laugh at the title. There is no such thing as fossil fuel. So your title is correct. No one on this planet uses fossil fuel. If decomposed dinosaur bones make oil, why do dinosaur bones still exist? If we evolved from apes, why do we still have apes? If fluoride is poison, why is it in our drinking water? Oh wait, that last one is a different issue. Kinda, it's the same entities around the world telling us these lies. Lying is bad enough, poisoning the water is a big no no. Nobody will do anything. Look at Ohio for example. We have to protect ourselves. No one is coming to help you. Lets help ourselves to better lives. Stay away from poisonous batteries too. Remember how you had to get rid of your old hazardous batteries and the cost? Now how bad will a car battery be? I don't like paying for poison.

To go national with this type of farming to feed hundreds of millions of people would be a challenge.
How about the govt begins a programme of encouraging this farming: counties, towns, cities start to find areas; start media info about project; calling for farmers.
Set up strategy, methodology, goals, rules and regulations etc.
Subsidize each farm, money directly to farms. Hundreds of millions dollars, directed to all States to set up this new method.
Small business rules!
So after wars, propaganda, ousting of Neoliberals from govt and the business world. By 2080?

2: 18 That quad doesn't look electric. Maybe is natural gas. but that's a fossil fuel too. But San Diego Power uses natural gas, so even if it's electric, you're still using fossil fuels.

Thank you! My backyard garden is terraced, and this helps me think about how to use that to my advantage. Also, Kevin, my 8yo son says your last name sounds like the name of a Pokemon.

It depends on what you call using fuel. The first thing I noticed at the greenhouse had plastic covering it unless that s a bendable glass. And I m not one minute into the video.

Alex Epstein has great content on the benefits of fossil fuels and the propaganda that surrounds the industry. No fossils in fossil fuels. Cool layout for farm though.

you are a rug. There is fossil fuel stuff ALL OVER. He may not use petrol engines but everything there has been produced by them. Yards of PLASTIC!

Shout out to your videographer / editor for that interior / establishing shot around 23: 00 minutes. I was thinking it and the shot just appeared.

I mean technically the plastic of the high tunnel, the quad & plastic ground covering ARE fossil fuels! But excellent progress!
reply

I exclusively use fossil fuels because there is zero evidence of climate change caused by humans. No kool ade for me, thank you.
