A couple of things here.
1) At 15: 50 you tell us that you're going to cut to results after a few weeks, but the next - and final - shot is a startup shot and an exit. Nobody knows how it turned out.
2) A sticker price would be helpful.
3) A discussion of rotating that unit for even sun exposure would be helpful. I'm trying to come up with a method to automate that but I'm stuck on how I'd prevent tangling the pump cord. If anybody has a thought I'd love to hear it.

Hello EG, great video. I had a couple questions: are the items: recycled plastics, and sustainable products NET-ZERO footprints? at leased Balanced out for Global Warming issues, better food for better health and better world? Organic SEEDs and no Monsanto controlled? Did you take out the Floride in the water? Thx, keep up the great work. If you need a little help on this, I would be proud to help a little with some of these items, to help your viewers and the world. Jeff

There is one big problem with that type of system! If that single pump goes bad, or loses power, you no longer have a system that is watering your plants! Thats why I designed a fill and dump system, and uses two pumps to ensure your plants will be always getting watered! In that way with my system, if one pump goes bad, I have a back up, with battery back up, even if i lose electricity!

Great and fun system to learn about hydroponic. Now don't go crazy and start ordering 500 of these thinking you will make a killing growing a billion plants because when the sun hit that cover the water temperature will change dramatically resulting in not so perfect crops. Just the opposite, when not enough sun light hits the lower plants they will also suffer.

This seems to be a great system in the way it works. I think my dad now has a project to do with me. We like to find cool ideas and see what we come up with. Ive been watching quite a few videos on this technique but was wondering what would be the most successful things to grow to start with before we branch out. Thanks so much for sharing?

Seemed to me like he should have mentioned something about plugs for the openings. Surely they make them for when a plant is pulled for some reason or a spot just isn't planted. Otherwise the empty hole would lose a lot of solution and allow a lot of pests in. Also why white? I thought that allowed algea to grow.

The best way to avoid a complete loss of nutrient fluid is to add a nutrient fluid level indicator! I made one out of some clear plastic tubing and a thin slice of pool noodle. When the level drops I can see exactly how much liquid is in my reservoir! I can share the details if you tube lets me.

Looks like a very efficient product but there are some things Im concerned about:
1. How do you deal with fungal growths in the barrel/plants? If any?
2. What is the maintenance like for a system like this?
3. Is it worth the money/effort compared to other growing systems?

the water container seems to be very small and almost impossible to check the nutrients solution while the system operates. Perhaps a connection with a low profile storage container on the side, will increase the water quantity and allow you to check the nutrients solution too

Nice system but $650 is not a reasonable price for a household system maybe for comercial use but it will takes forever to make the profit back maybe $199 or $250 but hey Im not judging just my opinion, and by the comments that I just read, no follow up video no friend anymore

Only demonstration I have ever seen that shows you how to plant the seeds, and explains why. Great design, not quite there on the pricing. Tip: Get the price down and be transparent about it to get it to market.

Would your hose need to have a filter on it? What I mean is, would the municipal supply have chlorine etc and would you need to flter that out? or would it not affect the roots in any way? Thanks.

Great vid thanks bro: ) it would be good to get a vid on pros / cons on all the different types of hydro / aeroponic systems for the home gardener. What system has the best bang for buck. Cheers

That is a small tank for all those plant my tower garden holds over 40 liters. Not only so that the water doesn't run out but outside in the summer the water would get hot and more algae.
