Hi, I've recently been given a pothos plant which was grown in a fish tank and has never been in soil. I've put it in my fish tank for the purposes of completing the nitrogen cycle. There are some leaves that were already yellow and others half way. There are only 4 leaves. The roots are also well established and I would say that it gets adequate light as its not directly in front of a window but the room is lit well with natural light.
How can I fix my plant and restore it to a healthy condition?
Does a pothos need co2 for its roots? Currently I'm adding AQUADIP LIQUID CARBON as per instructions.

I Kno this video is 3yrs. old. but I have a pothos I'm wanting to propergate. are u saying all the big plants at stores are just cuttings all thrown in 1pot? Or is there a chance my pothos is 1big plant? I want to know. if it is def all cuttings I want to take it apart and do it and make 3 plants. but if it's 1plant I wouldn't want to tear it apart, other than doing the oropergating as you showed. any info would be appreciated. THANX in advance.

I was inspired by you. I started my golden and satin pothos. but since I lack counterspace/ good windows. or appropriate containers lol. i used plastic bags and wrapped the nodes in wet paper towel (bag left open) And one small jar with two golden in water. It works! And faster with the plastic bag than on the counter. Must be the higher humidity in the bag. Yay!

as cool looking as that Amazon station is, Its really Impractical compared to a Starbucks mocha glass I use. I wouldn't recommend it for pothos. however it may be fine with smaller stemmed plants. For Cheap Alternatives, I recommend checking Your local Goodwills, Thrift shops, and yard sales for any Glassware. Some candle jars work great as well

Would really like to see a video from you on growing pathos in water. I have one leaf with a good root on it in water. I wanted to keep it in water. I dont know what the best type of container to grow in or how much fertilizer is needed. All the good stuff to have a healthy and strong pathos. The leaf is off a Golden Pothos.

I just wanted to add that the golden potho that I am trying to propogate is from an original plant that my mom had when I was a little girl, I am now 54 and trying so hard to keep this plant going, I feel from your teaching that I can revive this one vine into a beautiful plant, I will update.

Got this same setup a bit ago. Was worried seeing my plants droop at the start of winter so wanted some backups. Some crazy root growth on my pothos cuttings. will be tricky as theyve grown around the bar haha. Handy tools for backups or making plant starters for friends and family

I have gold n pothos cuttings that have grown quite a bit of roots. But I notice the roots have a little brown fuzz growing on them. Is that okay? I hope so. A few of the cuttings have even grown new leaves. It's not fungus is it? I have a bad feeling that it is. They aren't mushy.

hell for a while I had some pothos and purple heart in the same pot at one point. the pothos decided it didn't want to grow much after a while but the purple heart popped off. They of course been put into their own pots now that they both are bigger

It is easier to plant roots horizontally in the pot. Premoisten the soil, turn the pot on it's side. stick soil to the side, jus lay down the plant and root add another layer of sticky soil then another plant root. etc. until it's full.

Ive been propagating for years with good success. I tried your way with the shorter stem pces and ended with a lot of 'underwater leaf babies'. I potted them anyway, and wow! Their colours are amazing- like jewel tones!

Me when he first went to pull out the baby to look at the root: Nooo! It's going to break on the bar!
Him: [stops] Oh you know what, we may need to remove the bar.
Oh, thank god. He heard me.

This was really reassuring for me, I had been wondering why some of my propagations make it and why some dont, and it seems like its just the luck of the draw! Love your vids thanks for all you do
