In the final video on how to grow dragon fruit from cuttings, we harvest my very first dragon fruit in just 14 months from planting stem cuttings! That is extremely fast dragon fruit growing if I do say so myself. I'm very pleased with how this journey has gone, and if you have any questions please feel free to drop a comment

My dragonfruit flower opened two days and I believe the bees pollinated the flowers, but I am worried that I should have helped with the pollination. The flowers have been closed for 36 hours. I loved your 5 part series and it has significantly helped me get to this point.
How long after the flower opened did you have to wait until a fruit developed, then how much longer until you were able to harvest?
I have been reading through the comments for an answer, but could not find it. I apologize for asking again if you've already answered.

can it seems to me that you got fruit your fist season? do you know about starting from seed how long it takes to fruit. I live in zone 7a, Virginia, snow and frost of course. I just bought my first dragon fruit and glad i watched you eat this before I ate mine, I put it in the fridge for a snack later. I am also going to germinate some seed from it, will the cooling mess up the seeds?

You'd love to see my mother in law's wall of dragonfruit. And I do mean WALL. She used the railing at the top of the wall to trellis it. So she has a good 20ft or more of thick dragonfruit plants, but it's only a couple of plants, but they are long and dense. I believe we bought the house with an old dragonfruit plant. Like 12 years old or older. It's huge!

You sir earned yourself a sub. Great little series. I'm currently starting the journey of growing this inside (ND doesn't exactly give you much warm weather in a year. I was really curious about how your roommate's dragon fruit plants ended up turning out, so you'll have to give us an update on that! Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos

I am growing the yellow variety and so far everything applies equally. I however, started from seed! We have 12 inch pups now and soon to be cuttings into new pots. I dislike the way they branch out that is really pesty. I think I will try to keep them single stem as much as possible. Congrats Dragon Dad, your fruit looked gorgeous!

A great series. My Cactus gets actually its first bud. I took it a few days ago out the greenhouse into the full sun. Now we have a few days with 30 to 20 degrees and 12 to 6 degrees in night. The bud is now 19cm long. Hope it will open until the nights are too cold. What do you think is the minimum temperature for blooming?

Great. That was most informative. I too have a dragonfruit plant that has not flowered for 2 years. I'll try out your method now.

Epic Gardening - If I have a green house, and a heat pump that keep the temperature constantly at 80 degree Fahrenheit all year round, and have artificial light at night, then how many months in a year would a dragon fruit tree bear fruit?

Thanks so much for a great series! I hand pollinated per your video, but the fruit when ot is size of a doulble golfball turns yellow and falls off. Ideas how to fix? Thank you in advance for any help you or other viewers can offer!

I missed when/why you've marked with a sharpie (or similar) with the dates -- is that the date that the fruit started to form? When the plant did the flower? when It started changing colors? Can you tell us more about that? Thanks!

Awe man. I really want to grow my own now. I use to go visit family in Mexico and they would grow at my great grandma's house. I would go out and eat 2 or 3 a day for a week straight! Although her plant was up in a tree.

Question. I have a dragon fruit cutting and rn its in water but didnt get to cut the bottom to form the roots. But the flower is forming rn. Do I just let it as is? Or cut it so the roots can form and put it in soil
