I am seeing my buttons now and I thought they usually came early. So I have no idea. I am in 4a and we have some crazy weather. Maybe the late winter storm and heavy rain is slowing everything down. I am hoping to see blooms soon. I started so much inside and hail tore up all my strawflowers and I was a bit taken back.

Thanks so much for this video! I've been having a hard time with bachelors' buttons for years and realize now thanks to your video that I'm not cutting down far enough and I'm cutting blooms that are too old. Very helpful!

What kind of soil are your cornflowers growing in? Will they grow well in fertile soil or in poor soil? I definitely want to grow them in next year but wondering what's the best spot in my gardens.

Your videos are always so informative and helpful! I realize now that I was cutting my buttons way past their prime and was wondering why they weren't lasting that long. Lesson learned!

Mine are falling over and they are netted. Should I have pinched them already? I also have really weak necks. They bend over really easy. Should I just cut them all down low?

I love this video! Would you be able to do this for new look dusty miller. I am questioning how to harvest them and what to expect. Are they cut and come again?
