In this video, I guide Joe Robinet, Kevin Parker and Brendan to my winter camping spot in Muskoka, Ontario. We set up camp, collect firewood and I leave them on their own for two nights, with a wolf howling across the valley as I depart

Muskoka! I was so excited to see this. Growing up I spent my summers in Bracebridge at our family cottage on the river. Some of my most treasured memories. My cottage neighbor and I would build forts in the woods where we would camp out. Truly primitive- no REI hear lol. Love your videos. Catching up on some of the older ones. And for the record, I've been to Santa's village. Just once. Everyone always wonders. ;)

Shawn - it was best you let those guys test the site. From Joe's video they had a good time and some struggles with the weather / wind. They survived with some beer and boy antics - they were just missing Scrambled O. Great video. Wilderness into on coyotes and wolves would be cool. We have a lot of coyotes here in ON. Winter camping season: ) & Season 3 of ALONE = Fun! Krystal

A lot of good points there. Hanging out here tonight and it's supposed to be down to 11 tonight. Artic air next week. Looking forward to that. Looking forward to seeing more of videos. Really enjoy them. Take care, Al

Tis the season! I've been keeping an eye peeled for a decent winter camping spot while I've been out hunting too. Might get something going after Christmas. Staying tuned for more!

Hi Shawn: Earlier you were concerned about camping at lower levels because of trapped cold air. No longer a concern? Or are other considerations more paramount? Brian 76
