So glad you brought up the topic of how people are uncomfortable with hunters. How can you shoot Bambi? Our personal perspective is that a conscientious hunter doesnt hunt a fawn; a dry doe possibly and most often a buck. It was the same attitude when we raised meat chickens, lambs, a few beef cattle and piglets. How can you eat what you raise?
While people are asking that question, are they contemplating how meat gets to the supermarket? Have they ever watched documentaries like food inc and seen how these poor animals are treated before slaughter? A conscientious farmer will raise their animals with kindness, dignity and respect, leaving their soul intact, something that is sorely lacking in factory farming which puts stressed and poorly treated animals in super markets and fast food outlets. Furthermore, does anyone contemplate the effect that urban sprawl has on our wildlife?

When you talk about people being anti hunter. I'm vegetarian, but I would rather everyone had to kill and butcher their own meat. The modern meat industry is what is truly evil. Hunters that kill to eat and hunt as ethically as possible definitely aren't evil. People only like their meat wrapped up neat. I'm positive if they had to kill their own people would eat less meat for sure and wouldnt be as wasteful as they are in this day in age.

I think if a person wants to eat meat, then go hunting and kill an animal or buy alive chicken and kill it. It is your own responsibility for it. When people go shopping, they are supporting the meat industry and all the torturing for animals. In the forest during winter it's impossible to survive without meat. If you're a vegetarian that's great, but don't judge Shawn, he is kind and wise man.

Lovely video, am watching all this series. One thought that comes to me; you must surely have to keep stopping what you're doing, move the camera here and there, carry on. Then stop; move the camera somewhere else. etc. you must have to keep interrupting what would be a continuous flow in order to reposition that camera for our benefit? All the time?

Snow snow snow all the time. It's pretty coming down but after it gets down, it can leave. I love snow but hate ice. We haven't had a good snow since 2009. We just barely get a covering on the ground. Your apparently not cold natured because your always out in the cold working on something. Love your videos. Love your dog. So pretty. Stay safe.

Love your videos and like what you had to say about hunting with minimal suffering. Its not like its egotistical big game trophy hunting -shooting still target elephants/giraffes etc. I hope too that your fish die quickly also. Thank you.
