I have a project idea for you (as if you didn't need more work) that I think would make your place the most unique in probably Ontario, at least. Why not build an observation tower (wood or metal? If the average height of the trees around you are 60 to 75 feet tall, an 80 foot tower would be doable, I'd think. Great for star-gazing, overseeing the surroundings (animals, fire threat, intruders [French Canadians, drug runners, Bigfoot, ETs, etc. ], photography or simply a place to kick it for a while. Okay, I've done all I can do from here -- The Concept Phase. You're doing a fine job on all the rest. Saludos, desde Colonia Centro Historico, Puebla, Mexico, DerRobMann sends.

Really enjoying your videos, but have some ideas for you to consider:
1. Enclosing porch would create another room for 3 season use at least
2. The porch doorway is an inconvenient walk from cabin front door. What about putting a door between porch & cabin in the location of the window you have on that wall?
3. Curious why you put the bath house so far from the cabin, & the outhouse so far in the other direction?
4. Why is the roof of the outdoor kitchen so slanted?
5. Idea for paths between buildings. Use boardwalks for that purpose. like in the old west. no walking in the mud.
Keep up the good work!

Hi Shawn & family.
Just subbed to your videos. I live in the very hectic UK and watching you truly helps me unwind. Amazing. I bet your wife and girls are so proud of you.
Nothing good in life comes without lots of hard work and elbow grease and you certainly know how to use both.
I only found you yesterday but will be chilling out and catching up. Thank you so much for sharing this, it is truly amazing what you have done. :)

I really enjoy these programs of yours. Im a 73 plus female and retired now due to ill health so I have a lot of free time to watch and enjoy and still learn a lot from what you do. Fascinating to me. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Lauren Boakes from Katikati New Zealand.

We live in a forest but not off the grid. As soon as I step out if the truck the fresh air smell is to die for. He reminds me of my hubby, can build or fix anything. A real man you could say. Love these videos! Perfection

I love the sounds, especially the food cooking in the pan and coffee being poured in the cup. Makes me hungry and makes me want to go camping
