While I continue working on the cherry countertop for the off grid sauna, I roast a large farm raised duck in the earthen oven in the forest kitchen for two. robert: The maple leaves on Vancouver Island are three and four times the size of Ontario leaves, but they don't colour the same; usually they yellow and stay that way till they drop to the ground and in time brown as the weather cools and the rain falls.

Shawn, I believe that people will follow your footsteps for many years to come. You have accomplished so much. I enjoy your life lessons on how to reach happiness and survived with a sense of well being. Shawn future generations will learn and study from u. Long past when u are gone. I could only dream of leaving such an imprint. What a truly awesome legacy. All I can say is thank you!

Good evening to all the family, especially the obedient dog. It is a wonderful dog. I like it very much. Laugh me at me when he saw the squirrel. He had a beautiful look. I want and I hope to speak to you personally about something, but I do not disturb your email.

I Love duck! My favorite dish. I make it with a side of (Sweet)cabbage and dumplings(steamed bread) same way my mother makes it but the way you made it looks just as amazing.

Wonderful video. I wish I can experience that different kind of climate living in a log cabin. The weather in South East Asia probably too hot for this kind of experience.

You have the ultimate life there! If I could retire now, had the money and the knowledge you do, I would live the exact same lifestyle and way you do!

OMG, how awesome and lucky are you to find that bounty of wild fruit, that is a treasure! I would just be giddy about that.
