After spending three weeks on the road exploring Canada, I return to the off grid wilderness homestead eager to make progress on my new log home. I cut a 24 foot eastern larch log in half to make two sill logs, which I lifted into place with cables (next video. In the second half of the video, I show highlights of our trip, including amazing encounters with grizzly and black bears, elk bulls fighting, deer, bighorn sheep and more

Love the shirt Shawn! Even before this madness, social distancing is all I ever wanted. Your an inspiration to me and many others. And I like the g rated content so my boy can watch what hard work can accomplish.

Beautiful! Here's an idea Shaun. You could take all your nature footage from your trip and do a feature length film entitled A Walk Across Canada. Assuming this is all in Canada of course. :): )

Alberta, my home province. If the US border ever opens up, Glacier National Park, the other side of Waterton National park is a must see.
