Jeremy and I head out on a snowy and overcast day, the ideal conditions to pick up a limit of fish in a Northern Ontario lake and eat them over fire. The action is fast!

Great videos. I have just learned not long ago that alum. foil is very toxic in cooking. It is great for the wilderness, but won't use again. Also a video you did with your gourmet meal with wild edibles and meat, I learned from Ray Mears in his Wild Foods series, he cooked the nettles directly over the fire just for a few seconds until it wilted and ate them. He said it was the best flavor he has had yet with nettles.

Nice vid really enjoyed it thanks for sharing the tip up, btw I got a great minnow trap off of geek it's just a green net rectangular shaped cage, I used sour cream and onion potato chips as bait, couldn't believe the results.

Good video but am wondering if you guys caught any trout over 8 ounces on this trip. If you can, try
Winter brook trout ice fishing in Labrador, Canada. Up there you get plenty of 7 to 10 pounders. Great fishing!

Those few flicks to the head enough to dispatch that trout? I don't think i've seen you do that before, has this got to do with the cold or?
