I have a old Penn that I liked an worked okay for awhile. I think it got ate up with salt a long time ago from the last owner. I cleaned an lubed it an still don t work vary well. So I use the reel that got a broken bail last year. So I really could use a new setup for the starting of the new season.
I need speed for the Albies an Bonita an power for the Stripes to keep them out of the rock. For the long cast I like the eleven foot. Fits me well.
I leaned it against the truck while putting on a new leader an the wind blew it over an cracked three eyes.
That s what ended my fall fishing season. I was done.
So this is why I really need new rigging. I used the broken bail reel, but the rod killed it badly.

Spinfisher VI Spinning is where its at. I have only ever caught a yellow fin once, but the fight that thing puts up makes me wanna catch 1000 more.

Honestly penn makes great products, the battles are awesome and I love them. But my favorite is the spinfisher. I am saving for a slammer eventually. I really wanna catch a tarpon or permit. I believe the spinfisher would do the job just need the opportunity. Haha! Keep up the great work

I've only used one reel from them. The slammer. Was referred to be at sportsman warehouse in Norcal. I just moved to the socal coast and really wanna get in to salt water fishing. I've only been fresh water fishing my entire 20 year fishing career. Bout time I get salty

I dont even know what i would want to catch with that reel i have been fishing for maybe 2 years now and have only caught bass i just recently got a decent rod for big fish but max weight is 50lb not really a ocean pole if i had that penn i would want to catch some sharks

Honestly I really like the penn battle 3 the white and blue my brother had a 5000 I think but something took it into the water, that or the new slammer IV spinning is really nice and dream catch would probably be a mako shark or a wahoo! Awesome video do more!

This was such an amazing day, got the new gear and caught a 29 inch snook with the gear given to me! Definitely one of the best days Iv had at the peir! Thank you josh and Jake for the good luck charms. Still haven t taken off the blacktiph hat XD
