fished on the Seaforth out of Quivera basin in San Diego back in the 60s w my dad would often encounter these logs mixed with the bonito used blue&white sided bar jigs the 20-30lbrs good fighters on spinning gear not to mention good eating

had snagged a bunker as a school passed by today, and kept the retrieve real slow. two bluefish tore it to shreds and one got hooked up. drag was peeling rod was bent it was a great fight right before we brought it in.

the biggest fish I ever caught was a 24 pound king salmon when I was 11. 17 now I think it would be amazing of fish like you guys. I have to get better at fishing and learn more about it

I went barracuda fishing one we went out to a shipwreck the second the bait touched the water we got a fish then again again and ect we caught like 12 we just got too tired

Does the barracuda have a bad smell when it is on board? My step dad said that they are the hyenas of the ocean, and that is why they smell.
