That Spanish Mackeral is what we here in Oz call a Spotty Mackeral. What we call Spanish Mackeral have bars on them. They can grow over 6 foot long too. I've caught them to over 40 kilos. Those Tarpon though, whoah, huuuuuuge.

Hey BlacktipH I have a question for you, in this video you said when the tarpon is moving one direction you need to point your rod in the opposite direction. Do you do that with all fish like king fish for say?

I wish I could catch some tarpon this summer, but I don't think it will happen, I bought 1, 500 worth of tarpon fishing equipment and I haven't seen one yet. Maybe I'll catch my first one real soon. I hope.

I know exactly where that is at, right in front of Disney Vero Beach Resort. I paddled over a huge school of tarpon today probably in the same spot he was catching them.

Not trying to be all sensitive but could you guys maybe find a way to kill the fish you are keeping before you throw them in the ice bucket? They just kinda suffocate there.
