Hey there, I had to comment on the infectious enjoy you bring to your videos. Not only are they interesting and helpful for the environment, but your smile and love for treasure is contagious. Not often can you find a humble, caring guy that is so damn attractive. Keep up the great adventures; I don't even fish but can't stop watching. _ a lady fan from Michigan

Here in Canada, once you return the bottles/cans you get 5-20 cents per each one that you bring in depending what type(alcoholic/non alcoholic) and how big it is (up to 1L, and over 1L. I never knew that in the states its not the same. Anyways, good video Brandon! Can't wait for the next one, keep up the good work!

i bet someone already said it, but you use to pay a set amount deposit on just the glass bottle. When you returned the bottle you would either get your deposit back or you could just roll the deposit over to another bottle of whatever you are buying. Companies would wash and sanitize the bottles for reuse

Return for deposit is a way of recycling. You would get 5cents to 10 cents per bottle if you brought in your bottles. Which back then was a good price in 70s and 80s. A bottle of coke used to be 50 cents to 1. My dad said that's the way him and his siblings would make extra money as kids.

I like the river boarding part. Never seen that before. I was picturing paddle boarding like you would do on a really calm river or lake. This looks like more fun. I know you spend a good amount of time in Florida, but what river is this? BTW I really enjoy your videos.

i like old pop bottles to make a fish out of them or a cow to put in my kitchen, since i can't get out because i have to have surgery on my spine, but doing crafts to keep me busy, would like to do half of the things that you do, thanks jordan very much!
