It's still there. Irma caused it and it initially was on the beach but over time it has moved about 20ft offshore and the sand has held it in place. Two other boats have washed ashore since that one but they have been cut up and removed over several months, but this one was just one of the many causalities of Irma. It's a snorkeling spot for those who know of the island it's on: )

many people abandon those old cheap fiberglass boats and just lets storms and tides wash them away to wherever because it is CHEAPER than having it properly destroyed or recycled. I work security on a Naval base in California and we get mostly old sailboats like this that wash ashore for the same reason and in similar condition ALL THE TIME.

That is dangerous you need to call something like something but you really need to call somebody that is weird usually the ice never see any sunken boats because they're down down below butt now that is just cool but you need to call somebody right now okay

Did you get a chance to see the name and home port off the stern? I noticed the wheel and pedistal was still there, but miss the compass. I wish you could have shown the tv thing. It could have been a depth Sounder or GPS. Kewl vid.

hay you need to get jack and you and go out to panama city and dive the just had the hurican not to long ago you should go dive for sunken ship there may be some because arent you guys in FLORIDA

Don't you know that boat you found well it's a sailboat it has a sale in the motor the motor sits on the back because if it's not windy they can use the motor to get around
