In this video we go fish a giant abandon building with an old koi pond Small: Those poor fish were starving! But how bizarre that a company could just abandon such a fabulous location - I s'pose they've gone bust - but you'd think someone could use it - seems such a waste - but thanks for showing us (hope it's OK & doesn't get unwanted attention) You really do make some super-cool vids - would be VERY interested to learn more about what you do & how you do it - with the drone, editing, camera, etc. You have a lot of talent, Brandon & just LOVE your diving films. :)

Come check out Connecticut we have many many old old like a hundred hundred fifty year old factory buildings that were built on the river using water power so the rivers flow right through the buildings and there are some great fishing in the spots in the river iI grew up on there was trophy trout fishing like some of the best trout fishing in the world but under those buildings u get more than just trout

The bass were probably put there on purpose to help control mosquito populations. Standing water like this without fish would have the mosquito population going through the roof! In the south we use minnows for these kind of standing, unconnected pools, but maybe where you are, the winter conditions might not make minnows plausible. Or maybe they used bass to keep the frog populations down, too.

Everyone thinking they need to be rescued or helped. If they've been there for years then they've clearly found an ecological balance. Obviously conditons can be improved, but considering it's an abandoned building whatever's done should be done under consideration that they go right back to being on their own the next day.

How's this place abandon? It's got extremely modern architecture and nothing's that bad or anything, it's sad the just left those fish there knowing that water would get terrible, Yet they educated people? Jordan it's tight you're fishing it, Maybe if the lands unmaintained You should really try and get those creatures relocate

What an ass. You put a piece of food in front of a starving animal and of course it is going to eat it! They you yank the fake food out of the poor animal's mouth and think you are some kind of world class fisherman. Show us all what a true sportsman you are and bring some food back for those dying fish!

so where do these fish come from? They come from birds, eggs get stuck to their feathers and then drop off when they land in these obscure locations, remember when fish never seen lures of any kind the fish will hit anything that moves. I bet I can catch a fish with a gold hook with nothing on it!

Bass will eventually appear in any mud hole, pond or rock quarry. A game warden once explained to me that bass eggs get stuck on the feet of birds. Another park ranger told me that birds eat the eggs of fish and excrete them into ponds. Either way, the birds bring the fish to the pond.

Its called Natural Stocking. Fish eat fish or eggs from another pond and fly to that pond and poop and the eggs will hatch in the new pond. We have a retention pond in my subdivision that has never been stocked and we can catch tilapia, gar, mudcats, bass, bluegill and sun perch

YouTube is getting absolutely ridiculous with the amount of adverts they keep showing during videos. That's the problem, as soon as you get great publishers everyone wants to advertise and then it's the viewers that suffer. Oh well, still a great video that I really enjoyed
