I will be heading to the Keys in a week or so. We spend a month at Big Pine Fishing Lodge and trailer a boat down from Pennsylvania. It was neat hearing of Reef Light Tackle and Big Pine in your video. We shop at Reef Light quite often. Great folks to deal with. It is an amazing place to fish. We have a spot just off the reef that is in 95' of water where we regularly catch 24+ Yellowtail and 30+ Mottons. Would be neat to see you around and maybe could team up and we could show you a few spots we have for some Jumbo Snapper.

Would you say that fishing in the keys is better than down here, I go out on a Driff boat call catch my Driff that anchors at night only out of las olas in Fort Lauderdale? What do you think?

Hi Darcizzle, in New Zealand we measure our fish from the tip of nose to the inner V part of the fishes tail. was just wondering if you were measuring your fish properly?
I dig your show, by the way: -)

It is really awesome that you are getting to spend so much time with your dad. This area of the Keys is pretty awesome. My in-laws live just south of there on Upper Sugarloaf.

Heading down to Little Torch key next month. I love this area and have been diving and fishing it for 30 years. Last of the old school keys.

Is there no catch and release policy in place over at the Keys? Can you guys just take what you like or are there quotas in place?
