hi Brian or should i say PUDDING, i really enjoyed watching your video. You shared a lot of great tips and actually showed how to tie some knots with good enough camera work that most people could understand and learn from. The weather portion of it was also very good. I FISH the San Francisco bay all the way up to Rio Vista for strippers and sturgeon. what we deal with more are the tides and the wind conditions here. The conditions for both are a bit better if it's calm, as we anchor up and bait fish both types of fish. so here you sit and watch the tip of your rod for the slightest twitch. It could be a bullhead or a 100 pound sturgeon. do some more videos like what you did they are good, tight lines.

Ive just got a Bimini bay boat spinning rod 46 10-20lb line and 1-1. 5oz weight lures but definitely seems like the ratings arent accurate at all. I have it with or want to have it with a 4000 size penn pursuit 2 reel with 20lb braid. But I also think that for braid on this rod it be about 15-30lb braid and 1. 5-2. 5oz or a little more lure weight. What do you think that I could use the rod for because I couldnt find many articles really on the rod at all online and what there was is just giving the rod specs. Nothing about what I can typically use it for other than on a boat or pier fishing.

hi, if you remember any comments i made on other videos, Im a seventh grade kid who lives up north, but loves fishing, especially down south. Now, I have been really thinking about investing most of my money into a new combo, fit for trolling for sails, mahi, kings, tuna etc in the 30-50 lb class range. I really want a 2 speed reel, just because it is much more easier to use, the best one so far being the penn fathom 2 speed. I haven't found a 2+ piece trolling rod in that 30-50 lb range, but if you have any recommendations for reels or rods, please lmk!

Our buddy Fireman Tim, he's been in vids, caught zero on his boat, and we spoke to some other folks that didn't do well either. BACK at it again tomorrow with Lisa! You know, Lisa the engine fixer and kingfish dip Queen! :)

Interesting to see other peoples reels and rods and what setup they use. Your vids are always welcomed. Have you tried the FG knot when trying braid to mono? I'm totally converted to this easy to tie knot. Merry Christmas from The Land Down Under.

Hey nice informative video! Like how u included hook, wire leader and fluorocarbon size! With knots included and what species ur targeting, nice! Btw clean garages without alot of stuff in them are boring so a on the garage full of goodies

In Tenerife I remember one of these fish gliding parallel to me while I was on a jet ski in the Atlantic. Absolutely incredible experience Im so glad you could get one close up to the camera for us
