Glad to see that you are only harvesting one claw and are releasing crabs that have already had a claw removed by another angler. It is important to properly remove the claw without tearing the diaphragm. The only declawing study that has been published (Davis et al, 1978) reported 47 percent of the crabs declawed by double amputation died from the trauma while 28 percent of crabs with a single amputation died. Hope you manage to get lots more and I look forward to the catch and cook.

Brian you should walk around Walmart in that outfit during rush hour like 5pm (DARE YOU), Are those white Grundens oil skins, off course Grundens sponcer a beautiful Woman instead of the ugly commercial fisherman up North when I was fishing LOL Try 300 Lobsta traps up North, Brian whats up with that could of had 5 more pots hey keep up the great videos

Its called filter feeding, lobsters are also able to do it! my younger brother lost a fleet of pots one time and found them again 6 months after ( by pure chance) the crabs and lobsters were in good condition!
