That black tip shark you caught was a baby. I live in Clearwater. go out Clearwater pass. I've caught a bunch of black tips.
The spring is when they run the beaches here. I don't kill them anymore. But if you want to eat one. as soon as you catch one, immediately cut their tail off and bleed them. Then take care of the rest. I won't go into details. But you steak them and the meat is very good. especially BBQ'd!

Do I spy a new truck pulling the boat! You guys are really stepping up your game with your new gear and such. This new boat def provides quality content compared to the ole aluminum rig. Get up on that fishing tower and toss some throw nets or land a monster! Very cool you guys are tagging your sharks now! Is this tagging system one where I can see when the shark surfaces and pings?

Years ago I went shark fishing off Grand Caneria Spain. Also hsve eaten shark on numerous occasions. The shark meat was very tasty, kind of like swordfish.
Black Tail Shark are one of the edible speices of shark.
I wonder Darcie, why dont you keep and eat them?
Is it illegal to keep them and eat them?

Poor Bubba. You guys should take him on the boat sometime. Maybe just not shark fishing! lol. I have a Boxer that loves going fishing with me. Nice vid as always, and wtg on your first tagged shark! The new boat looks like it's working out well.

Heres a tip it works well with me especially shark fishing if you pinch down the the barb it will increase your hook up tremendously. Sometimes that barb is too big to pierce to there mouth especially with smaller sharks. Try it out

fished a lot down there. caught alot too, but no more. all you catch is trash fish. developers and big sugar have totally ruined the fishing down there. go to the panhandle if you want to catch fish and make vids.

Another great vid! Lots of good info also. I always thought of sharks as a pain in the butt. But y'all make it look fun! I will definitely try targeting sharks this summer
