Oh, and another question, do you keep the Kings for eating? It is hard to release them since you almost always need a gaff to land them. I have eaten some juvenile Kings and they were okay but no where near the taste of a Wahoo which looks similar. Do you have any recommendations for preparing King Mackerel for the table? I really hate catch and trash.

Another great video. Thank you Brian! I very much love to see how much Darci loves to do the fishing and catching, but she also treats the fish with respect and admires them and talks in admiration for them but on the way in and into the boat. She also is fair and even in her support for the others on the boat. It is all so nice to see.

An amazing day of fishing! Those kings were sized right. I enjoyed watching as always. I have learned quite a bit from watching you and cannot wait to get back to the states and use some of what I have learned. Keep on catching and teaching. Thanks so much!

Nice video. I almost always go with no weight and bump the transmission in and out of gear. The Kings come out of the water like a Polaris missile. Now I sound like one of those recipe reviewers who say I just altered the blah, blah, etc.
