Darcie, like you I LOVE my live bait. Keep your bait alive-----Two big killers of live bait (Gizzard & Threadfin Shad. tank water and surface foam. Major componant of shad death is lack of oxygen and excess amonia from shad poop. Fact---Shad, both major species, poop a whole whole lot. Hence, excess foam and amonia into their water. .Solutions---Add coffee non dairy creamer to the tank to keep the foam down. and ICE to keep the tank water cold, slowing down the fish's movement/ metabolism, therefore using less oxygen. Didn't read this. Live it from being a long time Striped Bass Fisherman. If you ain't got live bait, you've got too much bait st in the tank water. (Keep on making youtubes)JIM in Texas

Do you guys find a lot of pressure on the fish that makes it so difficult
I was talking to a local guide here in port aransas tx and he bashed Florida for all the congested waters. He was a negative guy tho so not really believing all he said.
