Best MIAMI Deep Sea Drift Boat Fishing

Oh - oh - oh Yes! I love going to the Haulover Marina and the drift boats! As a kid growing up in N Miami, NMB, and then Aventura, THAT is where I would go during the late 70s and most all 80s. If it wasn't for beach then it was for fishing. I remember when I got my 1st job at Winn-Dixie and would use some every week to go on the Mucho K. Sometimes I would use Hurricane, Atlantis, or Popeye boat (the mint green one. I would call and make my reservations and paid the guy at that little store window (it used to be 20 then. Then after I returned from serving overseas and Desert Shield, Desert Storm I noticed it had gone up. and continues going up. The guy at the window was there for many years and weighed about 320lbs, he told everyone his name was 'Tiny' and I always thought that he was just being funny, but then I saw TINY on his name tag too. I have caught many snook, snapper, grouper, etc. right under that bridge. You sure had a warm welcoming committee when you arrived the boat. Nice to see Jamie again. That was some great drone footage and lucky to get up on the top deck. OMG! at 2: 02 they sure had ALOT of rods stacked in the back corner. It's been a couple years since I last went but, that's where I usually reserve for yellow-tail fishing at night. Be careful of your catch at 6: 36. they are very hard to fillet and VERY stringy to try eat: -) Do you remember the tall Harbour House building that used to be on the SE corner of the inlet? They imploded it back in 2004 and rebuilt the newer condos there, but I remember going to the end of East Jetties and catching big grouper up against the rocks. Just seeing these places in your video brought back all the memories Thanks! You sure did have a good batch of catching fish for the full-day trip. ha-ha funny to hear you keep saying bonita instead bonito (bonita is spanish meaning pretty. and bonito is the fish. Keep up the great work.

Thats my old stopping ground. Sunny Isles was a great place in 89 - 98 before all the A-Holes started buying out the Mom & Pop Motels and ruining it building all the Condos that put up gates restricting public access to the beach. Before it was great wt all the tourist out to have a good time & all the Tiki Bars from the Marco Polo to Holiday Inn at the other end. Good Times for sure and a reminder that they dont last forever so enjoy them while you can.

Another great video, I am glad you had an excellent fishing trip. Happy birthday to your friend, I hope he had a good birthday. Me and my friend caught over 30 fish, last Friday, it was fun, the only thing was almost all of them were hardhead catfish.

Darcie, looks like good times on a Party Fishing Boat, we have those on West Coast Canada, we call them Puker Boats for groups of 16-20 New Fisherman out in Pacific Ocean looking for Salmon, Halibut & Tuna, great Fun! Great Videos, keep em coming

Hey Darcizzle, I've done that exact trip. Same boat, same crew. You seemed to do a lot better and the boat was way less crowded for you. But had a great time none the less. And I outfished everyone that day as well. Pure luck.

I've been on some nice party boats out of Jupiter. We were drift fishing and caught mostly yellow tail snapper and bonita. We threw the bonita back, but the yellow tail made a great dinner.
