We have been waiting to do this Catch Clean Cook for a long time now! Fishing in Florida with artificial bait on structure inshore fishing. We catch Florida jack crevalle which is a widely known as a trash fish. Jack Crevalle get a bad wrap, however, they are eaten worldwide and make excellent table fare

Darcie, I saw some funny videos with a couple people casting out bait nets and on the back swing they lost balance went overboard. Darcy I thought of you and your passion for casting bait nets catching bait.
I wondered did this ever happened to you?
It might make for a good laugh on your blooper videos if it was caught on film. I know you love to catch bait w/ casting nets. And your one of the best I ever seen on youtube!

Cancer I hate it so many of the females of my family faced it my mom suffered horribly of ovarian cancer I became angry at god for her pain she was so wonderful I could not understand. We lost her back in 1997. I could say much but best I do not I am very unhappy about all of my memories. life is not fair or just in anyway I hope you do not deal with cancer the way my family did

My son caught a crevalle over 25lbs Saturday. We decided to do like one of the comments said and soak in salt water brine and sear it like tuna steak. Will update in a day or too how it tasted. Boy did it have a huge bloodline in the filets. Pretty easy to clean off tho.

Hey guys, good show. Jack Crevalle is definitely not trash. Gut it and cook it whole on the grill, skin it. delish. Totally agree, not the go to meal, however, a change of pace never killed anyone. Tight lines & good vibes.
Prayers for pops, hope he is felling well.

First video I've seen of yours and I'm definitely subscribing. Not much fish but you and your dad are such nice joyful people and that's what I like to see. No idea what his situation is but I hope everything turns out alright (:

Darci. I eat them all the time. Keep the skin on and put in the smoker. Excellent. I like to blacken it and cook on the grill. Very good. Make sure well bled though or it be strong flavor. Smoked also makes good fish dip

Smaller ones I usually cut head of use it for soup, rest cut tail with skin on fry it. Bigger ones same but fillet with skin on and stir fry add curry on meat side.

I grew up in Hawaii and was raised eating them. Im surprised this is considered a trash fish lol. Love deep frying then with garlic salt and pepper.
