My condolences go out to you Darcie. It looks like you have awesome memories with your father and this one looks to be a great one. That's what you need to hold onto and you will forever. My two brothers an I are all into fishing big time. Our father passed away in 95 suddenly one day he was there the next morning he was gone. And he love to fish and now I wish he was here so we could really share a lot of fishing trips with him but I feel that he is with us. We have a decal made up on our boat to say Dad come fish and dream with us. You keep on fishing and just remember your dad is always looking down on you an smiling with you. You just keep talking to him in your mind or out loud when you're out in the boat on the beautiful waters. We always yell out thanks for the awesome fish today dad! Lol. God bless.

So sorry for your loss, Dacrizzle. Cancer is the worst, and the chemo that comes with it horrible for most as well. Like your father, my mother, father and uncle were smokers, which increased their risk for getting cancer significantly. Lost my mother and uncle to advanced lung cancer w/ emphysema and my dad w/ prostate cancer too. You can tell there is so much love in your family and your father was the absolute best. and obviously a very proud father! God speed to you and yours.

My mom was diagnosed w/ stage 3 breast cancer in 8/18. She just finished chemo a month ago and just had breast surgery last week. (Going well so far, shes a trooper) We/she has 32 daily radiation treatments to go and we will be moving to southwest Fla in Sept. from Ohio, Can't wait to get down there and live the dream we've always dreamed about. Your father was taken way too young. One year older than me. I know it is incredibly hard for your family. May you find those moments of peace on the water and may your heartache fade like the setting sun. Not long from now the pain will be gone only leaving the good memories. Keep strong while you greave and know that you are surrounded by his love and the love of many.

I'm very sorry for your loss, those last months are usually hard. I'm sure seeing all his kids turning out so great and all four of you remaining so close to each other, did his heart well, and left him at peace that all you Arahill kids would be supporting each other. Soon the stories and laughter will replace the grief.

Hey Darcie, I'm really sorry to hear of your loss, I lost my dad to cancer in '94 and I lost my wife in 2017 to leukemia, cancer really does suck. Praying for you and the family, no lie, it leaves a hole, but great way to celebrate his life.

This is a day you'll be able to rewatch in years to come and smile & yes cry too but a one in a million moment you had with your Dad. my father is going thur cancer treatments at this time too. so I'm with you and I love my Dad much.

Hello, Darcie sorry to hear about your dad, my dad passed away in october of 2017 from lung cancer. We were like best friends and I still miss him very much. Again sorry to hear about your dad.
