As I sit in my office and watch your video's almost everyday for a brief time out, I contemplate what the hell am I doing with my life. I live literally 2 blocks from the Gulf of Mexico and have a family house on Galveston Bay with a boat. How many times have I fished in 2019. Twice. Thank you so much for giving me at least a brief glimpse of what I should be doing and will be doing much more often in 2020!

I cook Spanish on the grill. Lay them skin side down with some butter/garlic/and salt and pepper on the meat side. Cook it till there is only some liquid on the meat side of the fish, then flip it. Give it about 30 seconds meat side down, then take it off and eat it. You'll only need a fork because the meat will flake off. It's the best you can get.

I. Enjoyed this. , had a lot of child hood experience catching. Mackerel out at sea, but also on my own in the canals in marathon, it was always very cold when they where in the canals, at times they would only take a live local minnow with a tiny hook

I'm Missing a key Ingredient for this catch & cook,
I've got Fish, cast iron Pan, Corn, Aluminum Foil, butter/spices. Bricks, Twigs, Lighter, BUT,
NO LOVELY DARCIZZLER =

Spanish mackerel is so good.
People need to be more adventurous with their food and at least try everything once.
You might end up trying something that you would never try and end up loving it.

Next time u cook whole corn don't wrap it in foil. Just soak it in water for a bit and cook it still wrapped in the husk till outside of husk is burnt. When u peel it corn will be sweet by itself

Last time I cooked a spanish over an open fire, I used my machete blade. It worked really well for cooking the fish, BUT, it ruined the machete. Moral of this story? Don't do that.
