Great video, I always do better fishing alone and in many ways it is safer. I always have a person who knows exactly where i'm though. And though you dive alone, you had a spotter on the boat. Looked 100% safe to me.

Can someone just answer this please. I live in South Africa, the atlantic ocean side has very cold water, so much that your pink when you get out. Yet florida and bahamas has warm water! R. S. A and florida is roughly the same distance from the equator. So im very confused lol

Great video Gabe. Been diving in the Great Lakes for better than 25 years as well as a few runs to your neck of the woods & Cozumel. I hear ya on the solodiving thing. Rock on. And, Ceviche is my Favorite seafood dish. MMmmm Gooood. Gonna have to try that with strawberries.

Another great video blue. Keep um coming. I've been gone for almost 1 week for a long VA appointment. One of my deep freezer decided to hit the fan while I was gone. Needless to say, all of fresh and salt water fish are bad now. It's so depressing ---

Hey Gabe, you are100% correct. Them Lion Fish are so good. I made some today similar to yours. I like how the strawberries and mangos balanced the lemon and limes. Best ceviche I've ever had. The coconut hog fish were also excellent.

That's exactly how I would make it except I would add some fresh diced ripe tomatoes to it and also add just a little bit of Tabasco sauce. PERFECTION. Better wear goggles when eating bc your tongue is gonna slap your eyeballs out

I don't like Meyer's lemons. They aren't sour enough to be lemons. They're not sweet enough to be oranges. (They're a hybrid, by the way) They suck. The video is good, however. And I'm definitely trying the strawberry ceviche.

Aubrey's got some cojones handling those lionfish like that. Even just spearing two at a time is enough to give me the heeby jeebies, cuz then you have two sets of spines to deal with when taking them off.

If all of the poisons are on the spiny fins, would you suggest cutting away all of the fins with kitchen shears/scissors if i want to cook it whole instead of filleting?
