Flounder gigging after work! What I do when I do what I'm doing! Rodney: I had to rewatch this video because I missed your message asking us what we do (did) for work.
Summer of 1984 I began my career as a student land surveyor in Alaska performing remote Native Allotment Act (1974) boundary surveys, calculations and monument setting, complete with official conveyance documentation.
Then graduated with a BS Civil Engineering and began a career in the Construction Management for large industrial and commercial construction projects.
Just before retiring I worked in the Oil and Gas industry in Venezuela and West Africa.
I was also in the USAF for six years, 1976-82

Never seen such a big hole dug with such small machines, usually they use a large digger to scoop out most of the dirt and than a smaller one to trim the edges. With your equipment the job takes a bit longer but it's also cleaner and less disturbing, so probably better inside a populated area. I also see that you are a skillful and meticulous worker, kid of a rare breed these days. If possible, I'd like to see more of this in your videos, it's equally as entertaining as your fishing adventures.

Hey I enjoyed watching you operating the Bobcat and backhoe. I appreciated the little dirt ramp for elevation and maintenance of it as you loaded the dump truck. I assume that you typically put between 15 and 20 bucket loads?
