Gabe,
My life long friend Buddy Gandy, in his 80s grew up in his dad's ice and fish house on the St. Andrew's water front of Panama City FL. and former owner of Buddy Gandy Sea Food & Fish co. agrees with you. He told me probably 30+years ago that stingrays tasting like scallops was 100% B. S!
Logger John.

Next time your in Jax and it's warm you got come shoot sheepshead at the jetties. My kids free dive the south side of Hannah Park in 15 ft of clean water they are everywhere. Would be a great video to shoot with Kelly. Then come to Tides Tiki and Beach bar for cocktails and dinner. Run it.

Never tried stingray. I thought I would cook Stingray like I would carp. Salt and pepper, bake 300 F for 30 minutes on a fresh pine board. Finished. Throw away the fish and eat the board. Sorry, old fishing joke. On second thought, I'll have to try your marinade. Great times. Thx.

i've learned how to skip the first part cause i just get annoyed when i see people spear fishing. If you can't get the fish by using a fishingpole without the net it ain't suppost to be dinner. It's just that simple, but whatever love the cleaning and cooking part of it: P

I remember my first time in Mexico I was snorkeling and seen this little thing poking out of the sand and being a curious one I went to go touch it and a stingray about that same size popped right up and scared the daylights outta me

Love sting ray especially that size makes the liver most delicious. altho i prefer not skinny just pour hot water over to remove rough skin as shark witch also can apply the same hot water method. Awesome show keep it up!

I tried this fish dish with my twist today and it was lovely. I used pollock, Sriracha instead of Kimchi and served on brioche buns with square cheese, tartare sauce and sweet pickled peppers. Thanks Gabe.
