BARRACUDA- CATCH, CLEAN & COOK on a REMOTE ISLAND (SPEARFISHING) SD: Preparing to get into fishing again after 30 years (Midwest - Southern Missouri. Been adding poles, reels, tackle boxe, and gear. Went to Danco to look over plyers, knives, etc. Ended up with a pare of Ultimate Braid Scissors, 7- fillet knife Pro Series, 4- fillet knife Angler Series (for cutting up bait, and 8- Riptide Angler Series plyers. I was sitting there looking at the price when I remember Gabriel Arrington saying (on almost every video) -go to Danco and enter the promo code Bluegabe-. So I went through the process of purchasing and just before I submitted the purchase request, I entered -Bluegabe- as the promo code. It auto-recalculated the purchase price - saved nearly $8! What a surprise. And now I'll be getting great gear at a good price.
Thanks Bluegabe!

Man we have had people floored with how we launch and load the boat. I am in the boat with the kids. I start the motor (gotta make sure it works before we take it off the trailer) and give him the thumbs up and he bumps us off the trailer. Then I nose up to the end of the dock after he parks and is ready to be picked up. We load the same way lol I nose up and let him off, I float around till he is ready, I drive the boat onto the trailer. Done. I would HATE to just be standing there on the sidelines waiting for one person to do everything. More people should do that instead of spending 30 minutes loading at the dock. Who really wants to spend more time at the dock than they need to lol

Even if you don't have a boat just go to the gulf and fish, surf, bays or piers. Hang out for a few days. If you like being outdoors you might find yourself overlanding or what I call do more bushcrafting and living right out of the overland you set up and or a boat. So many places you can go very cheap and live way healthier then the ever day grind. And WAY MORE FUN> find your nitch we always say. By the way, I would love cuda and eggs all day long. And the ocean is a good washer, especially salty water on cold cast iron. Just be sure to take care of that cast iron.

Interesting comment, -I do not like fake survival videos. This is just good life-, with reference to catch and cook. I can mention quite a few people who would starve to death, if they had to catch and cook to survive. I am sure the aborigines in Australia got a lot of laughing for people making fire by friction, and call it survival. We all have different interests, talents and passions in life, and as such survival to one, might be living the life to another. It does not mean it is fake.

You are 100% correct about the boat ramps and the trash. I am completely clean about the trash, but I am bad helping my brother load and unload his boat. I have always driven small to midsize trucks and SUV's (bad mirrors, so I learned to back up by looking over my shoulder instead of my mirrors. So like Gabe said, learn to do it the right way. If you can practice with a buddy or your wife/girlfriend during the down times. No shame in learning, but clogging up the ramp is a bad move.

At 12: 47 you just mentioned the survival vids. I have one for you. Ovens Rocky Mountain Bushcraft. Up for a survival challenge? He can hook you up.
Sorry have to edit, I've been to St Augustine twice. is this new stuff they are doing now? It's been years, but last there you just walked around and looked. no signs for things like that? Will probably edit again, lol
One last one, you guys are awesome!

I hear ya about the boat ramps. Back when I was able to get out and go fishing from our boat, my husband would get in the boat and get it ready, checking the plug, etc. I would back the boat down the ramp, he would back it out into whatever body of water we were at and stay offshore until I parked the truck and came down to get in the boat. We never tied up the ramps, but saw many who did.

Lol yeah when I feed my wife I know I did good when she walks away with the plate like I'm going to take it away from her. it probably a good thing that we were married before she knew I could cook otherwise I would wonder if that is the reason why she married me

Enjoyed your video as always. Keep up the good work! I appreciate your gallant efforts on launch etiquette. and I'm hopeful that you're going to reach a few take to it to heart & grow, but you will never eliminate -the boat launch idiots-.
