How to -Catch Clean and Cook- the Most Expensive Steak you-ll Ever Eat! Recon338: Gabe I work in a meat department and we also process deer. We don't do the whole thing but if someone brings us deboned venison we grind it up and make sausage and all that stuff. It absolutely amazes me how many deer hunters don't know how to properly clean a deer. Either that or they just don't care or maybe have never had anyone show them the right way to clean a deer. Idk which but some of the meat that comes in there to be made into burger and sausage looks absolutely terrible. Not soaked, hair all over it. The silver skin still on it. Blood shot. Idk but hopefully some hunters in my area will watch your videos like this lol. I process my own from start to finish. After skinning and deboning I leave it on ice water, vinegar and salt bath for 3-7 days at least. Draining the water once or twice a day. Then I'll cut it into steaks, roast, make burger and sausage. Deer meat is one of the best tasting and healthy meats out there and nearly everyone I've ever talked to that didn't like deer meat didn't take the time to prepare it correctly. Great video as always.

My son and I don't hunt to survive by any means. if we did. I'd either be skinny or starved. We hunt on my land and get a buck or large doe every other year it seems. Just enough to enjoy the taste. Every year though, it is something we look forward to together the little bit of time we each have to hunt. He's better at it or luckier than I am most times. My last big doe I hit with a new rifle I hadn't had out of the box for more than an hour. hit her and knocked her down. she laid there for a bit and I thought she was dead. walked up on her and within 20 feet she jumped up and charged me. I got one more shot off scrambling backwards before she ran into the woods. We tracked her for a few hours but the neighbor ended up getting her. My son laughed so hard at me. still does. I should have taken an extra shot at her before I got too close. Live and learn I guess.

Hey Blue Gabe I love watching you do your thing! Weather it be hunting, fishing, and all your travels, but most of all the different ideas for food. Just wanted to let you about a seasoning that I used to use on everything but can-t get at the store anymore. I-m from Maryland but I know I got some down South so maybe you would have more luck. It-s called Uncle Yammy. I really liked the fish and chicken rub but they make a variety of stuff. I-m sure you won-t be let down. Keep up the good work and hope to see you try it on one of your videos. But can you smell that!

I hunt for food. Period. I only kill what i can store until i need to replenish. I don't love hunting and killing animals. There's nothing fun about it. But there is pride in not relying on others for food and not having to ever eat the frankenmeat sold in stores. Also you are a fool if you don't have the florida lifetime hunting license to save you money. If you hunt out of state, that's on you. I hate when sociopaths try to speak for others.

I hate people who hunts coyote's. That is animal that should never be hunted at all and I'm a hunter myself. some animals should never be hunted especially if they are not wild game that you would eat. trophy hunting should be illegal in all 50 states and around the world.

Lots Of Your Local Natives MADE Metal Arrowheads From Refabricaing Metal They Had Access, To Like Wagon Wheel Rims & Barrel Rings Dating Back Into The 1700 or Earlier From Cargo Ships That Sank. DON'T Not Check Every Tone, Gabe & You'll MISS History Maybe. LOL!

I have a farm in Elbert County GA that borders the broad river. We have found a good many Indian arrowheads but have never thought about metal detecting around there. We have really good deer hunting and loads of wild hogs too. Come hang out with us sometime

I'm so glad you did this video! Most people have no clue about how to do this. I was taught how as a child and do it with pretty close to the same method. Any time I use a processor, it's an old buck and I have it ground into chili meat.

I never quartered my deer like that I just split down the middle to get two hind quarters then de bone from there, i totally agree with you on that being the best tender steak! Hope you have a wonderful day
