My children and I watched this video today and noticed that after you caught the fish you failed to rub there noses. Unfortunately they most likely swam back and told all there buddy's about being caught. It is a must do to rub the fishes nose so they forget about being caught and don't tell there friends. But this was a great video thanks for taking the time to make such a great video.

Hey guys fantastic stuff. I catch the biggest trout in lakes on Vancouver Island BC. I troll a fly of my own that fools the big one's. You will see me use some of Phil's awesome fly's. But when it comes down to winning a derby you will see me using my own. Sorry no photo or name cause well it's a secret.

Excellent brackdown video Phil --, of lacks fishing for trout. I have hydro dames, at the top & the bottom end of the lk I fish. Will this make it more difficult, as it is glazer feed water -. As some years, I catch my limit in a couple of hours. Other years, can be there all day & not even a nibble -

Excellent presentation and explanations. Uniquely instructive amongst other videos in your series. Also a rarely discussed topic, yet so important as many flyfisherman dismiss lakes almost completely-
